University Enrollment Services (UES) supports the academic and student services missions of Indiana University by developing, coordinating, and managing university-wide shared services in the areas of admissions and transfer operations, financial aid, student records and data management, and military and veteran affairs. UES works closely with campus-based partners to enhance customer service; implement best practices; drive student-related technology development; comply with federal, state, and institutional guidelines; and support their overall enrollment and retention goals. This team uses data to identify new opportunities and to prioritize work, which drives innovation and creates efficiency across the University.

Job Summary

Department Specific ResponsibilitiesReports directly to the Associate Vice President for University Enrollment ServicesDesigns, plans, coordinates, and assesses University-wide initiatives to support efforts in the enrollment management spaceSolicits new IDEAs and assists with the design, review, and implementation of strategic plans as well as future technical development opportunitiesWorks with campus partners to gather data to understand which IDEAs will have the biggest impact on both the student experience and operational efficiencyTakes on special projects within the UES unit to bring the UES vision to lifeGeneral Responsibilities

Plans, directs and implements programs or events, including the creation of materials to support these events.Provides staff communications and serves as liaison to program participants, collaborators in other units, community partners, vendors and the public; approves staff purchase requests; arranges staff travel, accommodations, and research activities.Provides mechanisms, training, and advice on a variety of issues such as budget management software and advanced strategies for timely spending of grant funds. May be responsible for meeting revenue targets.Recruits, trains, directs, schedules, and evaluates faculty and staff partners, students and volunteers.Mentors, serves as a resource and provides guidance to team staff members as needed.Researches available grants and works closely with managers to identify funding needs and potential sources, creates grant proposals that further advance support of the program and program participants; May be responsible for meeting revenue targets.Constructs and administers program budgets and approves spending.Tracks progress on deliverables, analyzes data on projected spending and prepares reports for higher management and funding sources.Keeps abreast of best practices to recommend policies and procedures that deliver a quality program experience.Qualifications

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Work Location

This position will be based on the Indianapolis or Bloomington campus

This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule (mix between 2 days remote and 3 days in-person work), subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.

Advertised Salary

This position will have a starting salary of $60,000-$65,000 based on qualifications and experience.
