Role Summary: Brief summary which describes nature and level of workThe Central Office Engineering is seeking an experienced and driven Agile Project Manager with a robust background in business process improvements to join our dynamic team on a contractor basis. This role is pivotal in enhancing and streamlining our engineering processes, ensuring robust project management practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position will interact with all affected departments within VWAG, VWGoA and NAR to make this possible and supports the manager of the Central Office of Engineering.

Role Responsibilities: List essential functions in order of importance; include percentage of time spent performing each function (total should equal 100%)Main responsibility - General Project Management - planning, organizing, and coordination as well as operational support. - (70%)Collaborate and Engage:• Work closely with counterparts within the Engineering organization and other departments to align project goals and deliverables.• Identify and engage with relevant external stakeholders to understand their needs, expectations, and emerging trends, providing comprehensive reports through all required channels.Process Improvement and Development:• Identify internal process and technical improvement opportunities.• Develop and implement tools, templates, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.• Maintain and refine project management tools and methodologies, such as Jira and Confluence, to support project tracking and management.Automation and Digitization:• Show a keen interest in and motivation for bringing solutions for automation and digitization of current processes and workflows.• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and digitize workflows to enhance productivity and accuracy.Forecasting and Analysis:• Ensure forecasting processes are robust, consistent, and aligned with group standards within the Central Office of Engineering.• Analyze, define, and document requirements for workflows and business processes to enhance operational efficiency.Audit and Compliance:• Prepare and organize audits as part of the scheduled annual audit plan for the Central Office of Engineering.• Address audit findings by updating the Product Compliance Management system where applicable.Process and Lean Improvement:• Utilize lean process and process improvement skills to drive continuous enhancement initiatives.• Engage with IT departments and external vendors to implement and support process improvements.
