Glen Acres Golf & Country Club is looking to hire a full-time Food and Beverage Manager. We are a gated Homeowners Association with a 9-hole golf course, 2 driving ranges, practice area, swimming pool, tennis courts, golf simulator, fitness center, banquet rooms and multiple dining areas.
$65,000 and Up - DOE
FOOD AND BEVERAGE - Overview: The Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager is responsible for managing all F&B operations and delivering an excellent member experience. The F&B Manager will forecast, plan, and manage all F&B orders, staff, and finance. His/her goal is to maximize sales and revenue, customer satisfaction, and member/employee engagement.
Essential Duties: • Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards. • Monitors food preparation methods, portion sizes, and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner. • Orders and receives food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity. • Monitors department budgets and payroll records and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted. • Schedules staff hours and assigns duties for FOH. • Must have full knowledge of the process for serving alcohol within the premises. • Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service. • Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnel. • Comply with all health and safety regulations. • Interact with membership in a courteous and professional manner. • Provides superior service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to our members their guests. • Assists with the design of banquet menus, wedding receptions, outside tournaments, and all other functions. • Directly responsible for cost of goods, Labor Cost, and expenses related to F&B. • Conduct end of month physical inventory of all beverages, and related goods. • Performs all shift duties as required by the General Manager. • Additional duties and responsibilities to be performed when directed by the General Manager.
Requirements: Qualifications: • Strong Communications Skills • Computer Skills (MS Office, Visio, Club Systems POS) • Above Average Service Skills • Strong Organization Skills • Member Event Coordinating & Planning • Able to communicate, recruit, train, schedule, organize & reprimand service staff • Knowledge of Food & Beverage Inventory, Ordering, and Controls • Be able to control cash handling in F&B Departments • Work with Chef to build & plan menus for both restaurants and all types of events
Additional Info: Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility. The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time without breaks during busy times.
