Position Summary:
The Product Specialist (PS) will provide integral product performance & project specific analytics and coordination support to the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Product Mgmt. team within the Strategy & Analysis org.
This role will deliver high powered analysis providing insights for the Royal Caribbean Group's Shared Services portfolio for Supply Chain's source-to-pay & Supplier Information Mgmt. technology products. The Analytics required, includes but is not limited to, project specific analysis for spend, volume, cycle times & user adoption any related end-to-end processes.
The PS will support the planning, coordination and execution of cross-functional team tasks, deliverables & meetings to enable the Product Manager's strategy, governance & meeting cadences. This role will execute the collaboration and development of content for presentations & report outs to leadership across functional teams for transformation projects & product operational performance.
Role is best suited for a self-directed, resourceful person who has 1-3 years of experience in an Analyst & or Project Coordinator role supporting technology implementations.
The PS will promote best in class ways of working to deliver data and insights to guide our strategy and provide recommendations to optimize existing Supply Chain processes, technology configurations & impacted Supply Chain policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform project specific Analysis (Problem Sizing, models for informing decision frameworks, program reporting)Scheduling workshops across workstreams (Meeting rollouts, QBRs, Supplier conferences)Comms collaboration & release (Corporate comms & executive leadership)Task Mgmt. support across work streams (Smartsheet dashboards buildout & Mgmt. for RAID)Documentation development & Mgmt. (Content creation for Product Mgmt. report outs)Aggregates large data sets in Excel and other analytical tools for analysis. Contributes to data collection discussions, identifying critical information and data sources. Performs research and analysis on large data sets - data exploration, trending, etc.Seeks out data driven and process driven improvements cross functionally.Collaborates with departmental management & other team members to understand & clarify data analysis and reporting needs.Draw inferences "tell the story" using complex data & relationships.Influences business decisions through analytics that identify actionable, data-driven insights and opportunities. Makes recommendations and influences the direction of the business by effectively communicating results to project working team and leadership.Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to seek out improvement opportunities via data analysis and process investigation.Exposure to BI dashboard design highly desirable.Ability to collect, consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources.Ability to work with & manipulate large sets of data and to make recommendations with potential financial impacts.Intermediate knowledge of Excel. Working knowledge of Word, & PowerPoint, with experience manipulating large data setsExposure to SAS, Hyperion, SQL, Power BI, or equivalent technologies preferred .Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and process improvement.Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in global environment.Attention to detail required.Ability to operate in a team environment, with excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to support multiple projects and responsibilities at once.Bachelor's degree (BA) required.MBA or relevant Master's degree (e.g, data science, statistics) preferred.PMP, Agile, Scrum preferred.1-3 years of experience performing operational performance analysis, data modeling, or business intelligence/marketing analytics highly preferredExperience in travel/leisure hospitality is preferred.
