This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, brand management, and direct-to-consumer marketing within the home services or related industries. As a key member of the executive team, the VP of Marketing will oversee all marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns, content creation, partnerships, and customer retention strategies.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to position the company as a leader in turf management services.Collaborate with the executive team to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives, driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.Lead brand positioning and messaging to differentiate the company in the competitive landscape.Digital Marketing & Lead Generation:Oversee the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media.Implement performance-driven lead generation strategies to increase inbound inquiries and optimize conversion rates.Leverage data analytics to monitor campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI.Brand & Customer Experience:Drive brand consistency across all marketing channels, ensuring that all messaging reflects the company's value proposition and industry expertise.Develop a customer-centric marketing approach focused on delivering an exceptional experience across every touchpoint.Oversee the creation of compelling content (video, blogs, social media, etc.) that engages customers and showcases the company's expertise in turf management.Partnerships & Community Engagement:Develop and manage strategic partnerships with local and regional businesses, industry influencers, and community organizations to build brand presence and credibility.Spearhead local marketing initiatives, including sponsorships, events, and community outreach efforts to strengthen relationships within key markets.Team Leadership & Development:Lead and mentor a marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance.Establish clear goals and KPIs for the marketing department, regularly assessing performance and driving continuous improvement.Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and consultants to support marketing objectives.Customer Retention & Loyalty Programs:Develop and implement customer retention programs to maximize repeat business and customer loyalty.Work closely with the operations team to gather customer feedback and insights, translating them into actionable marketing strategies.Monitor customer satisfaction metrics (NPS, reviews, etc.) and implement initiatives to improve the overall customer experience.Budget & Performance Management:Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across campaigns and initiatives.Track and report on marketing performance, using analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and inform future strategies.Ensure that all marketing activities meet regulatory and compliance standards.Qualifications :8+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the home services, landscaping, or related industries.Proven success in driving customer acquisition and brand growth through integrated marketing strategies.Strong expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, and email marketing.Skills & Competencies:Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop data-driven marketing strategies.Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative campaigns that engage customers and drive business growth.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Education:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced marketing certifications preferred.
