Project Manager (Energy Provider)

We are conducting a search for a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join the team at our energy provider client company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of a wide range of projects. You will work closely with management and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, to identify areas of improvement, develop recommendations to optimize business processes, improve organizational efficiency, and ensuring the organization is meeting its goals and objectives.
What You'll Do:
Work closely with department teams, including Human Resources, Information Technology and Corporate Services.Develop project plans, timelines and budgets in collaboration with internal stakeholders.Coordinate project activities and resources, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.Communicate project status, risks, and issues to internal stakeholders.Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.Analyze financial and performance data to identify trends and patterns.Analyze data and provide reports on operational performance to senior management.Develop and monitor operational budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled, and goals are met.Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making.Assist in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures.Communicate findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.Conduct research and analysis to identify business needs and recommend solutions.Develop and implement strategies to improve organizational efficiency and productivity.Identify areas for process improvement and develop recommendations for optimization.Identify areas of improvement by collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements to optimize operational performance.Participate in the development and implementation of business strategies and strategic initiatives.Conduct risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies.Conduct investigations and root cause analyses of incidents to identify and mitigate potential risks.Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to identify and assess risks across the organization.Develop and implement crisis management plans to minimize the impact of potential risks.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and laws.Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and industry trends related to risk management.What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master of Business Administration or another related field is a plus.7+ years of experience in operations management or a related field.Experience with crisis management and incident response planning.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.Knowledge of risk management methodologies and tools.Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to risk management is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools, including advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
