Talent Acquisition Specialist

to join our vibrant team at Bethesda, MD.Responsibilities:Be responsible for the full recruiting life cycle for all open positions both internally and externally.Identify highly qualified candidates to fill scientific positions.Assist in recruiting for technical positions as needed.Work with Program Managers to devise a recruiting plan and create a detailed position description.Creatively source active and passive, high-quality talent; develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions, including direct sourcing and internet recruitment, leveraging industry networks; continue to build a talent pipeline.Negotiate and close talent with offers and starts.Document and report in Axle’s applicant tracking system.Become a credible and trusted talent advisor to hiring managers.Screening and vetting of candidates telephonically.Create strong relationships within the scientific community within and outside NIH.Assist in responding to proposals by identifying the right profiles and building a pipeline of vetted resources.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7 years of technical or scientific recruiting experience or government contracting recruiting experience.Familiarity with NIH. Work experience at NIH is strongly preferred.Team player who is driven to exceed goals.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.Ability to fully recruit once a job description is received with minimal supervision and direction.The diversity of Axle’s employees is a tremendous asset.
