Associates who embody our core values fit in well here and we are eager to meet candidates who demonstrate behaviors that align with Trust, Ownership, Growth, Empathy, Teamwork, Heart, Enjoyment, and Relationships.About the Role:Responsible for providing a consultative approach to large, more sophisticated business clients with complex treasury needs, with a primary focus on Commercial Real Estate lending, including but not limited to: homebuilder finance, affordable housing, and large scale construction and term lending. Responsibilities include:Developing new treasury management business and expanding business relationships, including handling high touch clients.Collaborating with Relationship Managers and Division Managers to facilitate the onboarding of new clients to the bank.Developing sales plans to identify the expansion of existing clients in conjunction with the Relationship Managers by preparing call schedules and presentations.Presenting a consultative working cash flow presentation to prospects and existing clients.Leading client/prospect sales calls with Relationship Managers and Technical Solutions Consultant.Driving collaboration between business lines to implement new solutions for new and existing clients.Leading consultative conversations with new and existing customers to define the solutions to meet their goals and business objectives.Mentoring and coaching more junior TM consultants and associates, and training new TM consultants as appropriate.Monitoring industry trends and competitive practices, including the impact of technology, regulatory and legislative changes related to treasury management.Partnering with Product managers in the development of new product solutions and the enhancement of existing product and services.Demonstrating compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applying to designated job responsibilities.Maintaining a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.Actively learning, demonstrating, and fostering the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.Taking personal initiative and being a positive example for others to emulate.Embracing our vision to become 'The World's Greatest Bank.'Performing other duties as assigned.About You:Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Business preferred. More than 10 years of experience in treasury management sales, service and/or support is required. Extensive knowledge and understanding of bank payment systems, treasury management solutions, and competitive practices is essential. Proven ability to:Consistently develop and execute sales planning within assigned sales territory.Achieve established sales and customer satisfaction goals.Build/source new relationships and manage complex commercial account relationships.Consult client best practices and operations to identify deficiencies to lead, develop and implement effective solutions.Excellent analytical, problem solving, customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required, along with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software applications. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or willingness to obtain is preferred.Workstyle:
Fully onsiteWe offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $120,000.00-$185,000.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
