We will consider fully remote candidates who are able to come in for 'Moments that Matter'.The Director, Brand Partnerships will develop, manage, and implement the global brand partnership strategy for the PlayStation brand, including the portfolio of games, products and services. The position will seek out and evaluate new partnership opportunities, amongst like-minded consumer brands, as well as support current partner relationships. They will fully utilize the PlayStation portfolio to engage current and new partners, increasing exposure and awareness for the brand, games and products.Responsibilities:Responsible for developing and overseeing the global brand partnership strategic plan and programming to secure the right partners and deliver marketing value.Build relationships with brand partners who share our values and can help us reach the right customers during key PlayStation marketing times.Act as the key liaison with brand partners with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:Lead development and pitch strategy for custom co-marketing opportunities with brands, and/or their agencies, in support of PlayStation business goalsLead all co-marketing contract negotiations to deliver the greatest level of marketing support/exposure for PlayStationMaintain and develop relationships with both brands and agency partnersForecast potential marketing value, budget, and ROI on all partnership opportunitiesDrive global brand partnership strategy, in addition to providing local guidance and relevance. Lead partnership with local teams to implement both global and local campaigns; Review of local/territory led initiatives involving brand partnersSteward a global team who:Develops the most effective messaging within the campaign for the PlayStation brandEnsures the right creative and promotion mix in conjunction with the partner relationshipTracks program results and performance to ensure key benchmarks are metOversee all agency partners, who support brand partnership programming, to ensure PlayStation secures the right partners, with the appropriate programming, delivering breakthrough programs and creative.Collaborate with product marketing teams to develop unique assets and opportunities for brand partners during important product launches. Show internal teams what they need to do to make these partnerships top-notch, if necessary. Work closely with internal teams to effectively leverage existing marketing relationships/assets and avoid conflicting programming.Create and organize compelling presentations for internal and external audiences; on average, development of 2-3 presentations per weekThorough budget management, including accurate forecasting and trackingCommunicate trends, shifts, opportunities, and program statuses with internal teams and managementQualifications:BA/BS degree or higher15+ years in the brand marketing and/or partnerships marketing space, with proven experience delivering successful partnerships and campaignsGaming knowledge/experience preferredStrong relationship management, planning, negotiation, communication and analytical skills.Experience concepting and implementing global, integrated brand partnership campaigns, supported with above the line and below the line media.Diverse skill set that includes the ability to conceptualize, quantify, communicate and implement strategic marketing/brand partnerships.Strategic thinker with the ability to fully understand the range of PlayStation products and evaluate outside brand products and identify marketing opportunities. Well versed in brand partnership strategies and tactics.Must be a clear communicator, remaining objective and professional in a high-pressure environment; Ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Proven success building productive, long-term relationships.Solution-orientated approach to problem solving; ability to adjust conversations and recommend creative solutions.Experience and ability to negotiate both simple and complex agreements; Proven success negotiating global brand partnerships and selling cross-promotional partnerships.Motivated, organized, self-starter who can react effectively and professionally to situations that require quick response or turnaround. Comfortable multi-tasking between multiple projects with varying deadlines.Clear and concise communication skills, with a partner/client service orientated approach; Strong presentation and sales skills. Ability to concept, write and develop persuasive, organized presentations quickly.
