Regional Sales Director, Southeast
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for leading the sales team to drive revenue growth for the company in the transportation and logistics industry. This position oversees the development and implementation of the sales strategy and ensures the achievement of sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement the sales strategy to drive revenue growth
Ensure the achievement of sales targets and performance metrics
Lead and manage the sales team to deliver on sales objectives
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
Provide regular reporting on sales performance and market trends
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company objectives
Manage the sales budget and ensure ROI on sales initiatives
Monitor and assess competitive activity in the market and adjust the sales strategy accordingly
Educational background / Work experience
A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales management is required, with experience in transportation and logistics industry preferred.

Strong leadership and team management skills
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Understanding of sales processes and techniques
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
Ability to develop and implement sales strategies that align with overall business objectives
Knowledge of market trends and competitive
Supervisory Responsibilities (if any)
Directly supervises a team of sales managers and sales representatives
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification in sales management or marketing, such as from the Sales Management Association or the American Marketing Association
Experience with CRM systems and other sales management tools
Language skills
Fluency in English is required.
Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Computer Literacy
Proficient in the use of sales management tools and have advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, is also desirable.

For this position, the expected base pay is:
$138,500 - $208,000/ Annual . Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
