Western Digital is currently looking for a savvy and skilled executive communications expert to join our Executive Communications team.As Senior Manager, Executive Communications, you’ll be a key collaborator responsible for building and leading executive level messaging platforms that reach employees, customers, media, analysts, investors, and industry influencers.This role will be responsible for providing executive communications support for the CEO Designate, and other members of the Executive Leadership Team, as required.The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and have a proven track record of managing executive-level communications. This role involves crafting compelling messages, coordinating communication strategies, and ensuring consistent and effective communication both internally and externally.Support the development and execution of CEO Designate communications strategy, engaging stakeholders within the Communications team and across the companySupport CEO Designate’s speaking opportunities, including coordination of logistics and management of contentManage CEO Designate’s profile across social platforms such as LinkedInDevelop talking points and content for internal engagements, including company meetingsWrite scripts for internal and external CEO Designate videosWork closely with CEO Designate’s office and stakeholders across the company to update CEO Designate’s briefing materials, and to coordinate and finalize content needed for travel to regional events, and country office appearancesCollaborate with Public Relations and Analyst Relations teams on media and industry analyst engagements, as neededAnalyze effectiveness of communication strategies and tactics, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomesQualifications
10-12 years of executive communications experience supporting an SVP or aboveExcellent content development and writing skills, with specific focus on executive presentations, blog posts, video, and messagingStrong stakeholder management skills and executive presenceStrong ability to translate complex topics into easy to digest storylinesExperienced in modern communications strategies, with a solid understanding of visual storytellingSocial media savvyExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging messages for diverse audiencesExceptional attention to detail, time management, project management, and organizational skillsHighly collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with multiple stakeholders and across different levels of the organizationCurious, flexible and the ability to think creativelyEffective team player, whilst also being able to work independentlyWillingness to take risksEnjoys working in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated, and can thrive under pressureSomeone who has a sense of humorExperience at a leading brand a plusAdditional Information
