Technical Communications Project Manager
Intralox, LLC is seeking a Project Manager for the Technical Communications Team. This role involves managing the development and delivery of technical documentation for Intralox’s ARB Equipment product line, within a specialized team dedicated to a strategic customer. The successful candidate will drive positive change and excel in a fast-paced environment across various technical projects, stakeholders, and departments and brings a strong mix of project management, organizational, commercial, and technical writing skills to deliver high value documentation. This position will be located in Baltimore, Maryland.
Responsibilities: Manage the development and delivery of technical communications (e.g., product maintenance manuals, operator manuals, technical bulletins) from initiation to closure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify documentation needs and propose and develop effective solutions. Ensure clear requirements before development starts and manage scope creep. Identify and secure necessary resources in collaboration with managers and workforce analysts. Set and manage timelines and milestones critical to project success. Anticipate, identify, manage, and resolve issues and risks, escalating to management as needed. Maintain clear, proactive, and systematic communication with all stakeholders. Contribute to the development and improvement of team processes and deliverables. Requirements: B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university and/or 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Product Management, or a related field. Proven track record in managing technical projects involving multiple cross-functional team members and stakeholders. Experience with authoring in component content management systems (CCMS), such as Tridion, Author-it, or similar system. Confident, credible, resilient, proactive, open to feedback, and results-oriented. Strong collaborator who is trustworthy and can create alignment without formal authority. Commercially minded, with the ability to conceptually grasp and communicate technical information to customers and to internal teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs and Smartsheet. Willingness to travel up to 25%. Preferred Qualifications: PMP or formal Project Management training. Experience in managing documentation projects. Experience in the material handling or warehouse industry. Technical knowledge of electro-mechanical devices.
