Job Description

This position is responsible for guiding efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of process equipment, utilities, facilities, controls and safety/security systems. Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations.

The role will also oversee equipment replacement and perform design-through-installation of small capital projects

Additionally, the individual is responsible for assisting Maintenance and Operations departments in problem solving, continuous improvement efforts, progressing Lean Manufacturing initiatives, actively participating in site HSE programs and self-development.

Duties:

Professionally and systematically defines, designs, develops, monitors, and refines an asset maintenance plan that includes:Value-added preventive maintenance tasks.

Effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems.

Manage Maintenance Programs:

Mechanical Integrity, Grounding, Electrical Safety.

Assist in systems design for maintainability, equipment commissioning, and management of change.

Analyzing equipment performance, failure data, and corrective maintenance history to develop and deploy engineering solutions, improved maintenance strategies, preventative maintenance optimization, and other reliability techniques.

Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations.

Providing training and coaching in Root Cause Analysis and FMEA, taking ownership for ongoing corrective action tracking, implementation, and follow up to ensure that all Root Cause Analysis projects are documented and applied plant wide.

Engaging technical resources and key suppliers to achieve best equipment life cycle cost of ownership.

Manages SAP-PM CMMS System.

Provide technical training for maintenance technicians and operators to ensure equipment reliability.

Capital: Develop and submit sustenance projects for the Omaha plant, $5 k to $250 k in scope, that ensure the site infrastructure is maintained and expanded to meet increasing AI & technology complexity, volume growth, and NPI’s.

Ensure projects are accurately scoped, appropriately managed, and are delivered in a timely manner and within budgets approved.

Provide key input and planning for capital projects that support delivery of the Site 5 Year Strategy.
