Job Description
The Distributor Territory Sales Representative works with Distributor Sales leadership to execute strategies that drive growth within their designated territory of Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Eastern PA.
This position is responsible for managing existing account relationships, identifying new distribution account opportunties and creating demand for Masterbrand products through builder engagement.
Organizational Relationship
Position reports directly to the Director of Sales—Distributor Channel.
Accountabilities
Supports and assists Director of Sales in achieving defined goals for territory, channel & MasterBrand.
Works closely with Director of Sales to identify prospects, develop account penetration plans, and deliver compelling value-based offerings.
Also, works closely with other Territory Sales Managers and independent agents to represent the total MasterBrand portfolio to new and existing accounts.
Strong focus on establishing Masterbrand Cabinet Products with Local, Regional and National Builders to be purchased through Distributor customers.
Actively participates in local and regional Home Builder Associates to develop relationships with home builders.
Drives sales and growth of the total MasterBrand portfolio with new and existing customer accounts.
Partners with Distributor customers that are outside and inside the sales teams acting as a subject matter expect to position Masterbrand products within builder programs.
Train both Distributor personnel along with targeted builders on Masterband Cabinet Product portfolio, providing updates and change management to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Provides insight and guidance to sales leadership on financials, logistics, and personnel issues.
Completes internal management and administrative activities.
Champions policies that support the needs of the organization and provides fair and equitable treatment of all employees, channel partners, and consumers.
Ability to travel as business needs may require.
Occasional overnight travel may be required throughout the year to attend meetings and events.
Position will require daily field travel to visit customers and builders, strengthening relationships.
Other duties may be assigned at management’s discretion.
