Job Description

Olsson is seeking an experienced Drinking Water Process Engineer to elevate the level of technical expertise and project management capabilities for our municipal drinking water projects on a national basis.

You will work with project teams to create detailed facility and master plans, designs, and estimates for treatment facilities, tanks, pump/booster stations, and other water infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Support development of the overall drinking water strategy, major pursuits, and provide technical oversight during development of capture plans that conform to the business development strategy and technical capabilities.

Provide technical leadership and support to project teams during the pursuit and execution of projects and assist with driving growth of the water market.

Coordinate with market and discipline leaders to align skills with market trends. Working with other leaders at the geography level to ensure strategic business growth.

Provide technical expertise and input on conventional and advanced groundwater and surface water treatment processes, including membrane treatment processes.

Support and develop marketing strategies/plans, anticipate opportunities, and identify market trends, including directing market research in the drinking water end market.

Help to build strong relationships, including interacting regularly with clients, teaming partners, industry groups, and stakeholders.

Reinforce collaboration and team building, ensuring client focus, demonstrate commitment to excellence and innovation, and motivate others to ensure positive morale and engagement.

Continuously build a strong professional network through personal contacts, conference planning and strategy development, AWWA and member association committee participation.

Work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading, developing long-term client relationships.

Work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful design of water treatment facilities.

Mentor, guide, and develop other team members to become technical experts within the water market.
