AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Bridge Engineer to be based in Rocky Hill, CT.
In this role, the ideal candidate will work under the guidance of experienced bridge engineers performing analysis and design of bridge structures and other transportation related structures.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Preparation and checking of design calculations for bridges and other transportation related structures.
Load rating of existing bridges.
Preparation of construction drawings which include – plans, structural sections, and details.
Preparation of quantity calculations.
Preparation of construction cost estimates.
Preparation of reports and technical specifications.
Shop drawing review and design services during construction.
Visual survey and structural observations of existing building structures for rehabilitations/repair projects.
Coordination with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.
Collection and analysis of data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Use computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
