This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an ambitious spirit that promotes an upbeat and creative environment.Oracle Health Data Intelligence has a rare opportunity to play a critical role in how Oracle Health products impact and reinvent the healthcare industry by redefining how healthcare and technology intersect.About the JobOracle Health Data Intelligence is growing and looking for a Senior Principal Software Engineer to join the HealtheIntent – HealtheRegistries Analytics Team – HealtheRegistries aggregates data across multiple disparate sources and normalizes the data, enabling advanced decision support, predictive algorithms, population identification, and advanced analytics.ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the software engineering division, you will apply intermediate to advanced knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or crafting software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Work involves problem solving, understanding, and applying company policies and processes.What You'll DoBuild improvements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.High level of fluency with Java, C++, C#, Python, etc.Experience working with distributed systems.Experience building cloud-based platforms that enable application design like AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI, etc.Experience working with large, enterprise, scalable applications.Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.Experience in working with big data processing tools like Spark, Hive, Presto, etc.Experience using RSpec to write tests ensuring code meets quality standards.Experience using Active Record to harmonize with database and perform data modeling.Intimate, working understanding of modern web applications from database to user interface.Proficient in object-oriented programming and MVC architecture.Expertise in writing well-modularized, maintainable software.Excellent interpersonal skills in both technical and non-technical contexts.Knowledge of:Design patterns and SOLID principles.DevOps technologies such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Maven etc.Software engineering standard methodologies across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations.Technologies and design concepts around Big Data Processing and Relational Databases such as: ETL, Hadoop Ecosystem, structured data, SQL schemas and queries etc.Micro-services architecture.Required Qualifications:6-10+ years of technical experience relevant to this position.Ability to communicate optimally and build rapport with team members.BS or MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, or equivalent.Disclaimer:Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only:US: Hiring Range: from $96,800 to $251,600 per annum.
