Position Summary:
Samsung Knox Cloud Service is looking for world-class engineers to join our technology innovation group focused on the rapid development of cloud-based end-to-end mobile applications and services. This is a great opportunity for a talented Full Stack Engineer to step up to the next level and build secure cloud services for users of the world’s best-selling mobile devices. The Samsung Knox Cloud Team is focused on productizing research projects and supporting their corresponding cloud-based service platforms and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
Implement, maintain and evolve cloud-based products and services Explore cutting-edge technologies for our products Work closely with Research teams to create quick proof-of-concept prototypes Design and deliver cutting-edge advance research projects to our Knox B2B customers Work closely with Architects on design and make optimal implementation choices Interface with other groups including Product Management, QA and Operations Required Skills:
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience 3+ years of experience in Frontend Development Experience building and integrating with REST APIs Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms Hands-on experience developing applications for highly available, scalable and distributed systems Should have a good understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and CSS media queries Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Special Attributes:
Experience with web development of data visualization and charting library (e.g. Highcharts) Experience with Python development Familiar with Continuous delivery and Continuous integration Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g. Jest) and code coverage tools Compensation: The base pay range for roles at this level is $151,200 — $207,750 USD. Individual rates depend on a number of factors— including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training.
