The Viral Vector Workflow Development Leader for Cytiva is responsible for achievement of the viral vector sales target. This requires the ability to prospect, build relationships with customers and generate business opportunities leveraging Cytiva end-to-end solutions.

This position reports to the US/CAN Viral Vector Workflow Leader and is part of the Genomic Medicine division, located in the Southwest region of the United States (includes NoCal or SoCal, AZ, NM, TX and OK) and will be fully remote.

What You'll Do:

Act as the gene therapy subject matter expert, supporting Account Managers and Sales Specialists on the business and technical aspects of the gene therapy market segment.

Analyze and articulate customer and market needs, prospect all categories of gene therapy accounts, and develop relationships with customers to drive/manage opportunities in collaboration with the sales organization.

Differentiate Cytiva’s solutions and offerings, convey compelling value propositions, and respond to customers’ technical questions.

Influence growth across all Cytiva modalities including but not limited to HyClone, Elevecta cell lines, WAVE, XDR, Pall Filtration, resins, mixers, AKTA chromatography hardware, AKTA TFF hardware, Vanrx and Biacore.

Prepare and present sales projections and forecasts of sales within the defined area, including budget planning for the following fiscal year.

Who You Are:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science subject or comparable work experience.

Previous experience selling Cytiva and/or life sciences products OR several years of experience in direct sales role or key account management role.

A deep understanding of viral vector and plasmid DNA workflows to support customers’ questions and challenges.

A demonstrated ability to work directly with customers at all levels within the organization.

Excellent communication skills and experience presenting corporate strategy, as well as product and application solutions to a technical audience.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in MS Office, a CRM database (preferably Salesforce.com), and analysis tools such as Qlik.

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
