Our platform enables engineering teams and business stakeholders alike to understand the “why” and how behind model outcomes.The OpportunityAs a Platform Engineer at Fiddler, you will contribute to a next-generation developer platform powering responsible AI. This platform enables our product engineers to move at lightning speed and allows our on-prem customers to deploy our Product in various configurations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with teams across the company—including Backend, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Product.What You'll DoBuild self-service infrastructure to enable engineers and customers to deploy code quickly and reliably.
Manage a container-based model-serving platform across hosted, multi-cloud environments, and on-premise VPCs.
Operate and optimize infrastructure components, including compute, networking, and storage.
Own the development experience for customers, encompassing CI/CD, local development environment, documentation, compliance, upgrades, and more.
Automate processes for increased efficiency.
Establish monitoring and health reporting for infrastructure, advancing self-healing principles.
Participate in on-call responsibilities for services you oversee.
What We are Looking ForB.S or above in Computer Science or related technical major.
7+ years backend, DevOps, and/or systems/Infrastructure engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with core AWS technologies (EC2, VPC, EBS, ALB, RDS, S3, EKS etc.) or similar in other clouds.
Proficiency with coding in Python and infrastructure/application management tools (e.g. Terraform, Helm).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline and Build tools such as GitHub Actions, Argo CD/Workflow, FluxCD, etc.
Experience with standard Linux distributions.
Experience with Infrastructure monitoring tools like Prometheus, Loki, Fluentbit, Grafana etc.
Significant experience with management of Kubernetes clusters and Docker container image builds.
Good understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery design techniques and infrastructure.
Preferably Hybrid with at least 2 days a week in the Palo Alto office. Will consider full remote for a strong candidate.
Pay RangePay Range in San Francisco, California is $130,000 - $210,000. If you are in the Bay Area, this is a hybrid role where you meet in the Palo Alto office at least twice a week.The posted range represents the expected salary range for this job requisition and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, benefits, and perks previously outlined.
