The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks faculty members to join the Sub-division of Geriatric Medicine. This is an open rank and open track position. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and education.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine;Must be board certified/board eligible in Geriatric Medicine by date of hire;Must be fully licensed to work in New Mexico;Must be eligible to work in the US.Preferred Qualifications:Interest/Experience in providing efficient evidence-based general geriatric medicine care including but not limited to geriatric assessments, prevention, nutrition/wellness, chronic and complex disease management;Interest/experience in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows;Interest/Experience in developing outpatient research and quality improvement projects in Geriatrics;Interest/Experience in caring for underserved populations;A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.Application Instructions:
