Performs care/maintenance and ensures proper functioning of equipment and supplies used by the Anesthesia Department. Assists Anesthesiologists in the provision of direct patient care as requested.Job Description:EDUCATIONHS Diploma or equivalent education/experienceOther: Minimum two years college.CERTIFICATION & LICENSUREBLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare ProviderPREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:Minimum two years current Anesthesia Technician experience.Recent experience with operating and troubleshooting (within last three years) laser, video, microscopes, and other Operating Room equipment.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEKnowledge of principles/applications of aseptic technique, care/maintenance of anesthesia related equipment and care/maintenance of surgical equipment.Strong communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills and flexibility.Job Shift:
