Urban Engineers is seeking qualified individuals to join the Project Management Oversight (PMO) Department as a Systems Safety Manager. This position will provide specialist support for the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) PMO Program.ResponsibilitiesProvide safety expertise by reviewing project sponsor’s safety plans and supporting documentation.Serves as a technical resource by reviewing Site Specific Work Plans and Job Safety Analyses.Requirements :Minimum of 7 years of Safety Systems Experience with at least 3 of the 7 years as Safety Systems Manager in Design, Engineering, and Construction of passenger rail or related transportation modes.Must have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Construction, or a related field.Experience in the application of MIL-STD-882C Military Standard: System Safety Program Requirement.Experience with Fire Life Safety and Ventilation (NFPA 130) or equivalent program is required.Transit Safety and Security Program (TSSP) Certificate is desirable but not required.Pay Rate:
