The Cybersecurity Engineer will develop and maintain company-wide cybersecurity infrastructures that will allow them to react to threats quickly and efficiently. They will also interact with multiple business, engineering, and manufacturing groups daily, and be an integral part of Annapolis Micro Systems' success.Responsibilities
Develop and maintain company-wide cybersecurity infrastructureEnsure all CMMC Level 2/NIST 800-171 security standards and compliance requirements are metResearch and actively respond to cybersecurity advisories and threatsConsistent monitoring and reporting of network security issuesDocumentation of security procedures, plans, protocols, and change managementProvide employee security awareness trainingSwitch, router, and firewall setup and configurationServer (Windows & Linux) setup, maintenance, and troubleshootingHardware and software security updates to ensure complianceProvide timely user supportRequirements
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or IT-related degreeExperience with NIST 800-171 controls and CMMC Level 2 security requirementsExperience with risk assessment, incident response, and security auditsStrong understanding of networking concepts and standards (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN)Proficiency in routers, managed switches, firewalls, remote access, encryption, and VPNsExperience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment and remediationHardware/Software/Firmware installation and maintenance experienceDemonstrated problem-solving and analytical skillsSVN, GIT and Maven administrationAWS AdministrationMicrosoft 365 (InTune, Entra/Azure, Exchange, Defender for EndPoint, SharePoint, Office 365)Network and Security certificationsAnnapolis Micro Systems is proud to offer an excellent compensation package.
