Family Law Paralegal

A well-established mid-size Family Law firm located in Menlo Park is seeking an experienced Paralegal. The Paralegal will be exposed to diverse and challenging projects and will be working closely with a team of 6 other paralegals. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days of onsite presence.Responsibilities:Assist attorneys in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, property settlements and marital agreements.Draft legal forms and pleadings, compile and serve discovery, arrange court filings and process serves.Help attorney prepare for trials, MSCs, and hearings by creating the necessary pleadings, trial notes, and exhibit binders.Conduct legal research, maintain attorney calendars and stay on top of court deadlines, serve as a liaison between the client and the attorneys.ExperienceAt least 4+ years of Paralegal experience in Family Law is required.Experience with high-asset cases and familiarity with the local rules and courts in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties is preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required.Experience with Dropbox and programs for preparing legal forms is preferred.The compensation range for this position is $85,000 and $105,000 per year, depending on candidate’s experience.
