Position Overview:
The Director, HVAC Marketing, reporting to the Sr. Vice President of HVAC Strategy and Growth, is a key leadership role responsible for driving the marketing growth engine within the HVAC division for on demand services including installations, repairs and tune ups. This position will work closely with GMs and other stakeholders to align marketing efforts with depot capacity, develop and implement new repair and installation offers, and ensure that marketing strategies effectively respond to changing weather conditions and market dynamics to fill demand.
This leader will be responsible for shaping the overall HVAC marketing strategy including offline and online efforts, balancing high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution in local markets. They will manage and develop a team of both local and remote marketing professionals, ensuring effective leadership and coordination. The role will have a significant impact on the division’s revenue growth and profitability through strong marketing execution and offer development.
Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee HVAC brand strategy, messaging, and activation efforts to drive conversions across marketing channels for the four local HVAC brands: HomeServe Heating and Cooling, UGI Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, PSEG Worry Free, and South Jersey Energy Services Plus.
Oversee the planning and execution of digital and offline marketing campaigns, exploring new grassroots tactics to improve the marketing funnel. Conduct performance analysis to identify trends and optimize customer acquisition strategies.
Manage the annual marketing budget, create monthly forecasts, and identify opportunities or risks.
Collaborate with GMs and internal teams to review KPIs and recommend actions for improved marketing performance.
Oversee the digital experience strategy, enhancing the web customer journey and ensuring brand consistency to boost conversions including maximizing the value of Google LSA.
Partner with the call center team to analyze customer interactions, improve booking rates, and increase customer satisfaction.
Understand local market competition and develop strategies to grow market share and differentiate the business.
Test and develop new marketing strategies, creative, customer propositions aimed at improving engagement with key customer segments.
Manage and develop direct reports, providing strategic guidance and leadership across on-demand initiatives.
Create and implement social media and Google review strategies to strengthen brand presence.
Oversee documentation and standardization of marketing processes and train team on best practices.
Collaborate effectively across marketing teams to ensure campaigns are executed smoothly and efficiently.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar role with knowledge of home services marketing or comparable service industry sector.
Experience in leading teams consisting of local and remote team members.
Experience with omni-channel marketing including digital (e.g., pay per click, email, social, web) and traditional offline marketing such as direct mail, TV, and radio. Mail marketing experience is a plus.
Strategic thinker who can influence business leaders to develop new and innovative process improvements.
Strong analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Well organized, detail oriented with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
Competency in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership.
Ability to work independently.
Ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned.
Travel up to 10% as needed.

Salary Range: $136,363 to $181,817
Bonus Potential: 20%
