Role SummaryThe User Experience Strategy Lead is responsible for supporting the Senior Director of UX in developing and improving human-centered design strategies and operational processes for Biopharma customer experiences. This includes digital and non-digital interfaces within customer engagement platforms. The User Experience Strategy Lead will utilize strategic thinking skills and possess a deep understanding of user experience principles, design systems, user testing, and operational design efficiency to collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure alignment and collaboration in implementing design strategies and operational processes. They will work closely with the Senior Director to prioritize customer needs, optimize operational processes, and ensure intuitive and engaging experiences. Strong knowledge of user behavior, research, design thinking, and design systems is required, along with experience in planning and conducting user tests to gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Role ResponsibilitiesResponsible for driving the overall UX strategy, ensuring seamless UX operations, and fostering a user-centric culture.

Ability to integrate the Pfizer brand into a scalable cross-channel design system.

Strategic thinking with a deep understanding of user experience principles, user testing, and operational efficiency.

Proven track record of leading complex UX initiatives, developing innovative strategies and optimizing design processes.

Oversee the user experience test and research process, execution, reporting for Pfizer customers.

Analyze user data and feedback to inform design improvements and strategic adjustments and collaborate with product and development teams to integrate user insights into the development process.

Lead optimization of user touchpoints (websites, email, social, etc.) leveraging data, in collaboration with Pfizer’s Platform, Delivery, and Digital and CX teams.

Lead Strategic UX Initiatives across products, systems, and services for our customers and internal colleagues.

Lead UX design deliverables (personas, schematics, wireframes, prototypes), ensuring a strategic framework is embedded in all our solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design strategies and operational processes.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders and guide the design team towards successful outcomes.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user experience design.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders including Brand Experience to drive synergy between Brand Expression and User Experience Principles, CMO Platforms and Technology teams, Digital CX and Delivery teams.

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

10+ years of experience.

Extensive UX experience in either a design-led organization or agency.

Expertise in user testing and research methodologies.

Experience with design tools such as Figma and Adobe.

Experience executing high-level, successful UX workstreams across multiple products, customer journeys, and teams.

Ability to connect qualitative research with quantitative data to provide compelling rationale to drive decisions.

Ability to work across teams to bring the best UX-centered approaches and solutions to the forefront in service to our patients, caregivers, HCPs, and internal colleagues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for creating solutions that are optimized to provide value to our users and to our business.

A portfolio demonstrating a proven track record of impactful and strategic thinking.

Preferred Qualifications

Awards in design or UX field.

Master's degree preferred.

Work Location Assignment: Hybrid will require 2 to 3 days per week on-site.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,200.00 to $248,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share-based long-term incentive program.
