This position will use machine learning, data engineering, automation, and Data Science principles to solve enterprise problems and advance our mission. This role is a key contributor to our team and will be directly responsible for design, development, deployment, and automation. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to rapidly advance the use of traditional and generative AI for cybersecurity. We are seeking candidates with passion to lead the implementation of cutting-edge technology and methodologies while establishing strong partnerships with data owners and stakeholders across Cybersecurity. The Sr Data Scientist will have demonstrated experience as a problem-solver, working alongside IT and business partners, and act as a trusted consultant.
Key Responsibilities and DutiesStructure business problems and drive viable, data-driven hypotheses in collaboration with business partners.Ability to skillfully enumerate a business problem, quantify its impact, size relevant data, and document applicable sources.Devise, develop and disseminate actionable intelligence from disparate data sources using advanced data analytics tools and techniques.Proficiency in evaluating and comparing data science models using a diverse range of metrics to enable informed decision-making and optimal model selection.Ability to perform in depth data analysis including but not limited to:Machine LearningGenerative AIRAG frameworks & NLP Token and sequence classificationClassification OptimizationTime Series analysisPattern RecognitionAble to work proactively and take initiative without being specifically directed; ability to extract & aggregate data from disparate data sources.Ability to communicate complex topics and visualize data in an easy-to-understand manner when presenting to management.Educational RequirementsBachelor's Degree RequiredWork Experience3+ Years Required; 5+ Years PreferredPhysical RequirementsSedentary WorkRequired Skills3+ years of experience in a Data Science or Data Engineering related role.2+ years of experience developing solutions in Python.Professional experience using at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).Preferred Skills3+ years of experience developing solutions in Python.Experience in building Generative AI solutions for business problems.3+ years of experience developing solutions using SQL.2+ years of experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).1+ year of experience in Cybersecurity.1+ year of experience in Splunk SPL.Experience with modern data engineering utilizing APIs.Experience applying agile SDLC.M.S. or PhD in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or Economics related field of study.Anticipated Posting End Date:

$88,400/yr. - $126,800/yr.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
