This Engineer will become a subject matter expert via collaboration with Design and Systems Engineering. This Engineer will then apply their knowledge to create and refine test processes implemented by Testers and Technicians in Operations. Whenever issues arise, this Engineer is dedicated to determine why the issue occurred and implementing corrective action to prevent future, similar failures.Essential Functions:Define, trace and maintain test process requirementsTest procedure creation and maintenanceImprove test yield through root cause and corrective actionCreate product related technical information in support of OperationsEnsures overall technical performance for Test Engineering developmentsWork with Engineering to facilitate the transition of products from design to productionProvide input to Engineering to support product life cycle managementMentor Engineers with less experienceProvide input to organizational visionProvide technical test consultation to internal organizations, contract manufacturers or customersRepresent Test Engineering in technical discussions to outside organizationsEvaluate contract manufacturers capabilities to provide required products or servicesEngineer with experience debugging RF problems/equipment.Experience with using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, digital multimeters, power supplies.Experience with circuit analysis, laboratory equipment, root cause analysis, data analysis, technical writing, and process design and evaluation.Support manufacturing floor to help overcome production issuesQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
