Incumbent has an advanced understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business. Job scope and complexity of assigned business is broad and very complex. This role has an advanced understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems and associated risks/controls. They may lead reporting, testing/monitoring, exception/resolution activities and providing guidance. They are responsible for training lower level and new staff. They typically interact directly with department managers requiring an advanced level of presentation and relationship building skills. This position will also have occasional exposure to regulatory agencies. We are looking for people who are passionate about data and who want to make a difference by ensuring high quality data is delivered.This role will collaborate with application and report owners to deconstruct the bank’s highest risk Key Reports, including mapping key business elements to critical data elements, collecting associated metadata and applying data quality validation rules to ensure data integrity.
