Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our high-performing support team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Product Owner to ensure systems are updated regularly, kept secure, and end users are able to perform their assigned duties.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing regular vulnerability scans and audit reporting for critical and severe finding mitigations, meeting A&A requirements
Conducting system management, including updates to COTS products to fulfill business needs
Monitoring user activities
Ensuring databases are available and properly configured via SQL Server Management Studio
Verifying Apache services are running correctly
Initiating daily checks that serve business needs
Contributing to the technological road map by planning work schedules
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a quick learner, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a complex environment.
Mandatory Skills
Experience with Windows and Linux System Administration
Knowledge of configuration and management of an enclave (isolated VLAN) or air-gapped environments
Proficiency with Active Directory Management (Windows Server 2016, Group Policy Objects, Certificate Authority, and Internet Information Services)
Hands-on experience with VMware and vSphere Virtualization Environment Management (ESXi hosts patching, virtual machine management/patching, VCSA management/patching, ILO configuration management patching, user interface configuration management, and troubleshooting)
Understanding of Cybersecurity best practices
Experience with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) management and patching
B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Skills
Familiar with AWS Lambda
Proficient in Python
