We are looking to bring on a motivated, driven and high-energy individual to fill the role of Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team as part of the B2B Solutions Technical Sales Team! This is a

home office-based role . As the Sales Engineer, support assigned sales representative(s), region(s), and/or product(s) and vertical(s) by attending sales meetings, addressing technical inquiries, assessing customer pain-points, conveying solution requirements, and resolving pre- and post-sales technical product issues. You will also contribute to the technical sales efforts of Information Display products and services, including but not limited to DVLED, LCD, OLED, collaborative displays, robots, software, EV charging. In addition, review project designs with stakeholders and recommend appropriate solutions.Understand complex integration drawings in the AV space to include segments such as command and control, corporate, education, post-production.Prepare and conduct technical training for customers, sales channel partners, solution specifiers, and internal teams.Participate as subject matter expert in product demonstrations, pre-sales meetings and 'shoot-outs' against competitive solutions.Attend periodic company and partner hosted sales and marketing events to provide technical expertise and labor during product setup/teardown, and during the events to engage with attendees.Document and convey Voice of Customer (VOC) for technical product-related topics, such as requirements for future products/features, to appropriate internal representatives.Assist in project implementation and other professional services as needed.Advocate customer needs and new ideas to US and HQ Product Management teams.Provide quality technical support to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships.Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferably with a System Integrator.Certified Technology Specialist-CTS (Preferred).Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical product and solution sales (preferably in Audiovisual, DVLED, Collaborative displays, Information Display industries, Post-Production, Virtual Reality, etc.)Strong understanding of Content Management Solutions (CMS).Strong understanding of project specifications, system drawings, floor drawings and blueprints.Knowledge in all MS Office Applications (Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce), CMS, CAD and/or Revit software a plus, Smartsheet.Exemplary interpersonal, time management and decision making.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.Aggressive self-starter with ability to identify, utilize and leverage internal resources.Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.Ability to document and escalate technical and project documentation.Strong organizational and analytical skills.Ability to work in fast paced, stressful environments while exercising sound judgment and decision making.Ability to effectively resolve conflicts, diffuse and de-escalate difficult situations.Ability to travel 75% throughout the U.S. (occasionally international).SalesForce.com experience a plus.Industry relationships with integrators, end users and solution providers a plus.System Integration experience is highly valued.Privacy Notice to California Applicants: At LG, we aspire to empower people and celebrate differences because we believe diversity will create the unexpected.
