Innovation is in our DNA.Summary:Cosm Studios, Cosm’s in-house film production and distribution arm is seeking an LA-based Senior Development Manager to join our rapidly growing team. This role will work alongside our teams in New York and Los Angeles to produce the company’s slate of Original programming across Cosm’s immersive entertainment venues and fulldome planetarium network. In partnership with studios and global community of immersive creators you will be instrumental in bringing Shared Reality experiences to life across cinema, music, art, performance and everything in between. A deep understanding of the entertainment industry, immersive storytelling, experiential design and the technologies that power them is a must as is a strong track record of bringing ideas from concept to execution.Have a passion for immersive storytelling?Are you relentlessly curious?Want to be part of something extraordinary?Come join us at Cosm!Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day production management on select Cosm Studios Originals across cinema, music, art, performance and entertainmentWork closely with external studios and creators to manage creative execution, production timelines, budgets and milestone deliveriesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure streamlined communications, creative alignment and tech requirements are met throughout each productionCollaborate with marketing, event managers and operations to ensure positioning the launch of the company’s slate of entertainment programmingIdentify, package, present and develop concepts for new programming across Cosm Venues and the company’s fulldome planetarium customer networkServe as primary point of contact for Cosm Studios in Los Angeles, hosting client meetings, participating in tech demos and hosting venue visits.Travel may be required between Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, New York, Dallas and future venue locationsExperience:Experience: 7+ years’ experience working in entertainment in a production management, or development role. Direct Immersive experience a plusStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage different personality types and interface with senior leadershipStrong attention to detail and impeccable project management skillsDemonstrated ability to manage, mentor and foster the growth of talentThrives in a fast-paced and agile working environment with a performance mindsetProficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Project Management softwareThe annualized base salary range for this position in California is $140,000 to $190,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.Cosm is an equal opportunity employer.
