Sodexo is seeking an
Executive Chef
to support our client in Santa Clara, California.
The successful candidate will have a direct impact on all culinary operations with oversight of hourly cooks for recipe execution, safety, and sanitation. The Executive Chef will need to have strong hands-on skills and be accessible to staff while being on the floor during service times, demonstrating strong leadership ability.
The Ideal Candidate will have the following in their
culinary “tool kit” :
Experience in high-profile accounts with scratch cooking and the ability to develop menus within a contract, meeting food costs.
A strong
culinary flair
to impress the client and lead the culinary department with new trending ideas/menus.
Knowledge of
current culinary trends .
Ability to inspire kitchen staff, mentor culinary staff, elevate their skills, oversee daily production to high standards of quality/presentation, and ensure safety/sanitation.
Experience in a commissary kitchen.
Success in this role will require you to:
Be innovative every day.
Have a strong focus on customer service.
Possess a valid driver's license, which is required for this position.

Qualifications & RequirementsBasic Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Basic Management Experience: 3 years.
