General Sales Manager

The General Sales Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the activities of the Variable Operations Sales Department and measuring the performance of the department’s employees.
This pivotal role entails overseeing our sales department, including responsibilities such as training sales personnel, establishing sales objectives, devising strategies to enhance sales performance, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Pay: $300,000.00 - $500,000.00 annually
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and objectives.
Forecast and meet daily, monthly, and annual retail unit sales in new & used vehicle departments.
Train and mentor sales staff while establishing performance benchmarks to offer continual guidance and support.
Monitor sales activity, track performance metrics, and generate reports for management.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Handle customer escalations and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.

The ideal candidate will have:
Bilingual in Spanish & English
Experience in Finance, Internet Sales, Used Car (U/C), and New Car (N/C) Sales Management.
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement.
Experience with VinSolutions, VAuto, Dealertrack, eLeads.
Clean driving record.
