About the RoleThe Swedish Cancer Institute (SCI) is recruiting an accomplished Hematologist-Oncologist to lead and further develop established clinical and clinical research programs in the diagnosis and treatment of Multiple Myeloma.
SCI focuses treatment of all blood-related diseases at the Center for Blood Disorders and Stem Cell Transplantation where a team of renowned specialists offer cutting-edge therapies, novel immunotherapies and stem cell transplantation, while providing access to a wide range of clinical trials.
SCI is devoted to providing cancer patients with the most comprehensive treatment options and innovative therapies available, and is the largest NCI designated NCORP site, with over 41 participating affiliates across multiple states for this 13 million, 6 year grant.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Attributes
Full-time leadership position, requiring board certification in Hematology or Medical Oncology.
A minimum of 3 years of experience beyond fellowship training, relevant clinical trial development, and leadership in multiple myeloma medical oncology is highly preferred.
This position is anticipated to be clinically-based, with the potential for pre-clinical collaborations with a range of research partners in Seattle and beyond.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in the design and conduct of early phase therapeutic trials in multiple myeloma medical oncology, translational research, and molecular oncology, along with a record of successful grant and/or contract support for clinical research.
