is currently seeking a

Senior Counterintelligence Analyst

to join our team in

Reston, VA

in support of NGIC. NGIC is the Defense Department’s primary producer of ground forces intelligence. NGIC produces scientific and technical intelligence and military capabilities analysis on foreign ground forces required by warfighting commanders, the force modernization and research and development communities, Department of Defense, and national policymakers.Produces IC-coordinated all-source intelligence analytic products on foreign intelligence entities capabilities, intentions, willingness, and opportunities to threaten U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, resources, activities, and interests worldwide.Analysis is comprised of regional and functional CI topics, including foreign intelligence threats to Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP) and DoD supply chains and emerging technologies, and threats from foreign intelligence technical equipment to the DoD.Provides analytic support to senior officials, collectors, and operators throughout the DoD, IC, and law enforcement agencies/organizations and for DIA’s CI programs, functions, and mission activities.Apply understanding of foreign intelligence capabilities / activities and U.S. and foreign partner CI capabilities and TTPs for in-depth analytic research and production of all-source CI studiesConduct, develop, produce, and present programs of instruction in specified collection operation TTPssupporting processes, relevant to the various human intelligence and technical intelligence operations under DoD authoritiesAssess intelligence from reporting; disseminate evaluations back to reporting elements to apprise them of the quality and value of the reporting and coordinate with analytical elements to identify information gaps and under-reported requirementsMaintain reporting statistics and assess past collection to assist commanders in determining the impact of their operations and shaping future collectionRequirementsMinimum Qualifications:MA or MS degree in related field AND 12 years of experience as a CI Agent or CI Analyst on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert intelligence analysis services; OR BA/BS degree in related field AND 13 years of experience as a Senior Analyst on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert intelligence analysis services; OR AA/AS and 15 years of experience as a Senior Analyst on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert intelligence analysis services.Demonstrated experience with all-source intelligence processes, data evaluation, and analysis.Demonstrated knowledge of CBRN Analysis.Demonstrated ability to produce and comply with advanced analytical intelligence tradecraft principles.Demonstrated ability to manage research and coordination for long-term projects.Demonstrated experience with intelligence analysis tools and databases.Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of a wide range of National Level, DoD, DCI, DIA and DA Information Security Program and Foreign Disclosure concepts, principles, practices, and procedures to review, analyze, and release classified and unclassified data in accordance with the National Disclosure Policy.Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of data transfer requirements for moving data between classified and unclassified computer systems.Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology. Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must have and be capable of obtaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated ability producing reports for senior DoD decision makers.Former DoD CI Agent with Tactical and Strategic Assignments; operational deployments in multiple geographic COCOM’s.Detailed knowledge of NGIC, Army, DIA, NSA, CIA, and/or interagency operationsSuperior understanding of DoD Intelligence processes, activities, standards, and available analytic toolsKnowledge of and experience with Conventional and Irregular Warfare concepts and operationsExperience participating in and effectively contributing to a highly collaborative team environment.Expert knowledge of near-peer intelligence collection capabilities and TTP’s.To Apply for this Position:You must have the Minimum Qualifications in your resume to be selected as a candidate.
