Student leadership and well-being are connected to every academic discipline, as all full-time teachers are also grade-level advisors.The school offers a coed program for young children at the Barat Center for Early Childhood Education and then an all-girls experience from K-12 on our 110-acre campus in Greenwich, Connecticut. We are proudly part of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools.We are currently seeking Assistant Upper School and Middle School Lacrosse coaches to join our Athletic Department for the 2025 spring season.Reports to:
Director of AthleticsFLSA Status:
Stipend, part-time positionJob Summary and Duties:Implement instruction and training programs to prepare student-athletes for competition; this will include plans for experienced and brand-new playersCollaborate with coaching staff to plan, organize and run daily practicesAttend all practices and competitions at the direction of the Head Lacrosse Coach and Director of AthleticsSupervise student-athletes during all team activitiesComply with Sacred Heart and sport-specific organization policies and proceduresAssist in maintaining equipmentCommunicate effectively with parents and studentsTypical practice times are:Middle School: Season starts March 2025, practices are 3:00-4:15 pm, Monday-Wednesday (occasional Thursday games)Upper School: Season starts late February 2025, 4:00-6:00 pm, Monday- Friday; occasional Saturday gamesTravel with the team for practices and games is required. Some games require early departure for Upper School level teams.Qualifications:The ideal coaching candidate will have experience with the sport at the college level, or equivalent, expertise in teaching sport-specific skills and strategy and the ability to relate and communicate effectively with young women.
