POSITION SUMMARY
We are immediately seeking a Subject Matter Expert to provide support to NAVAIR's Tomahawk program based out of the Patuxent River base, but reporting in the Washington, DC area at the Pentagon. This position is assigned to the PMA-281, Strike Planning and Execution Program Office and is responsible for developing and refining Tomahawk Missile requirements while performing system and program analysis. The role will physically be reporting to the Pentagon.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and advance Tomahawk Missile program requirements.
Conduct Tomahawk Missile system and program analysis.
Collaborate with developers to create software, system requirements, and associated documentation.
Participate in test documentation, scenario development, and test tool adjustment.
Work with Original Equipment Manufacturer on system integration.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in science or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. Combination of background, education, and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum 8 years of USN/USMC aircrew experience with credentials in strike planning and weapon employment.
Travel (20%) required to various work sites throughout the U.S.
Valid state driver license.
U.S. Citizenship.
Current and active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Experience with various operational squadrons, training squadrons, test squadrons, program offices, and tactical centers of excellence.
Familiarity or experience with the U.S. Armed Forces and Department of Defense (DoD) federal contractors and the aerospace, defense, or commercial aviation industry.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projects.
