WHO YOU AREThe Contracts Negotiator Associate will work in the F-35 Training and Logistics Market Segment primarily supporting IWTAs (inter-company agreements) with our sister company, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. The contracts negotiator associate will support the F-35 T&L market with proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract administration for the Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) contracts. The contracts negotiator associate will develop and apply solutions to problems requiring the use of a high degree of ingenuity and creativity. The contracts negotiator will work with the team for proposals and offer alternate approaches to mitigate risks involving schedule, cost, specifications, etc. The contracts negotiator associate will maintain communication with cross-functional organizations and customers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to execute the required actions on time. The contracts negotiator associate will ensure contract documents are consistent with agreements and policy. Since establishing internal and external customer relationships is imperative, this role may require occasional domestic travel.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree from an accredited collegeAnalytical thinking, risk analysis, and problem-solving skills.Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions, providing governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract.Ability/willingness to travel as needed.Ability to obtain security clearanceDesired Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience with Lockheed Martin Suite of Document Management Tools (ECE, ECS, DMS).Knowledge of Lockheed Martin policies and procedures; specifically CMS-510.Contract drafting and execution experience.This individual will have demonstrated abilities to develop customer relationships, both internally and externally.Experience with USG (FAR/DFARS) in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, administration, and close-out.Security Clearance Statement:
