The School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA invites applications for a Research Scientist I position in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering. All areas of chemical and biomolecular engineering are of interest.The Bhamla lab is seeking a Research Scientist I at Georgia Tech. The Research Scientist will lead the experimentation to establish transcriptomic analyses of single cells during learning phases, in conjunction with differential RNA expression analysis, single RNA sequencing experiments using live-sequencing platforms and other molecular techniques to establish molecular learning engrams in single cells. Additional tasks include mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, assisting in grant writing, and preparing papers and scientific presentations.Responsibilities
