Senior Catering Manager

Signia by Hilton Atlanta , you will be responsible for developing and managing specific market segments, soliciting new customer relationships, and closing business through proposals and contracts. Your role will involve creating tailored menus and events that maximize revenue and enhance guest experiences. This position primarily handles complex social events and requires maintaining relationships with corporate and social accounts. You’ll direct event logistics across departments to ensure smooth execution and may also support the Director of Catering and Events as needed.Key Responsibilities:
Organize, plan, and prioritize duties by setting goals and developing detailed event plans.Communicate in a timely manner with clients and internal teams via phone, email, and in person.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, setting clear expectations and ensuring those expectations are met.Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, and processes.Resolve conflicts effectively by negotiating and managing client concerns to maintain profitability.Drive sales by influencing both internal and external clients to achieve and exceed revenue targets.Analyze and solve problems by evaluating situations and determining the best solution for all parties.Ensure high-quality service by aligning team members with guest needs and providing coaching and feedback as necessary.Participate in customer site inspections and support the sales process when needed.Complete additional duties to meet business needs and attend work regularly.What are we looking for?
