Community HigherEd is searching for a Campus Director for Oklahoma Technical College.
The purpose of a Campus Director is to lead, manage, and develop the Higher Educational institution. This role requires an understanding of the needs of the local community, as well as the ability to create and deliver a strategic vision for the institution. The Campus Director is responsible for ensuring that the institution's educational objectives are met, and that the campus environment is conducive to learning and development. They must ensure that the institution is compliant with all regulatory and legal requirements and that financial and operational performance is managed effectively. The Campus Director is also responsible for maintaining strong relationships with the local community, government, business and industry, and additional stakeholders.
The Campus Director is a key member of the leadership team responsible for day-to-day operational oversight of the Oklahoma Technical College campus. Responsibilities include managing staff and faculty, strategic development, financial leadership, and ensuring students receive the highest quality education and experience.
A minimum Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or a related field is required. Minimum five years experience in higher education management with a minimum of one year of building administration experience, with classroom teaching leadership experience required. Experience and/or strong knowledge of financial aid, admissions, accreditation compliance, curriculum development, and human resources are required. Administrative expertise, strong customer service, and training experience required. Experience in a non-profit setting preferred.
This position is a salaried role that will require flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the campuses and provide a presence for both day and evening faculty and staff. Full-time, Monday through Thursday- 10 hours, with occasional evenings/weekends for college events. Great benefits!
Duties/Responsibilities:
Create an environment of Excellence in Customer Service with a focus on Servant Leadership toward students/faculty/staff.
Model the CARES philosophy (Courtesy, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, Success) and Core Values.
Develop and implement a strategy for the campus, including long-term planning and budgeting.
Collaborate with colleagues in developing and implementing strategic plans and goals.
Develop and implement campus policies and procedures.
Participate in licensing and accreditation processes; be knowledgeable with accreditation compliance agencies such as OBPVS, ACCSC, ABHES, etc.
Analyze program facilities, equipment, and materials and make recommendations for needed changes.
Work with Department Heads to facilitate new course approvals, textbooks, and funding needed for equipment and supplies.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, accrediting bodies, and company policies.
Monitor student retention in all programs, stay informed of current statistics, evaluate and assist faculty with retention efforts making necessary improvements or changes as needed, and work closely with Admissions and the Director of Compliance in this effort.
Work closely with faculty and department heads providing counsel to students; oversee when students are placed on probation, ensure correct paperwork is completed for any corrective action, student expulsion, and/or follow-up as needed.
Ensure faculty compliance with attendance, grades, and protocol for contacting Leave of Absences (LOAs).
Knowledge of student support programs and services; serve as the campus student services coordinator.
Collaborate and work closely with Executive leadership, Director of Education, Admissions, Registrar, Career Services, Student Services, Marketing, and the Director of Compliance.
Work with the President and CFO on the creation and monitoring of campus and program budgets.
Advise the President, in consultation with the faculty, on all academic and campus matters.
Maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Seek community, corporate, and grant partnerships that would bring additional opportunities to students beyond those provided through the Community HigherEd Institute (CHEI).
Plan, develop, and recommend strategies for donations, resources, and/or revenues for the college.
Assist Human Resources with recruitment and new hire onboarding, such as interviewing, onboarding, training, and conducting periodic evaluations of direct reports.
Assume Department Head responsibilities in absence of the Department Head.
Represent the college(s) at professional meetings, conferences, and community events.
Demonstrate a non-profit mindset: connect our mission and purpose with our people.
Attend graduation ceremonies and participate in college fundraising events.
Participate in a minimum of two professional developments per year.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ability to travel between local campuses and to various regional events.
