Guidehouse is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their Defense and Security Segment. This position is pivotal for collecting and analyzing data to identify trends, creating visualizations to support organizational goals, and aiding decision-making processes for significant programs within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The role requires leadership in data visualization and advanced analytics to guide policy and procedure recommendations to senior leadership.In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
Developing and leading data visualization and dashboard solutions using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and QlikCreating and reviewing data cleaning scripts with tools such as Python, SAS, R, SQL, and AccessIdentifying and developing additional data visualization capabilitiesEnsuring data governance and quality assurance standardsDeveloping training materialsPerforming advanced analytics on diverse data to identify trendsAnalyzing current processes and recommending improvementsSummarizing and reporting business process improvementsOrganizing and leading client meetingsSummarizing and presenting information and reports to the teamThis role comes with the following benefits:
