POST-DOCTORAL PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY FELLOWSHIP

Fellowship position is a joint effort between the Rutgers Institute for Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships (RPIF) and

AstraZeneca . Program emphasis is in

US Marketing, Hematology-Oncology.

This

2-year Fellowship

provides a unique opportunity to achieve a thorough understanding of both the clinical and business (marketing and commercial) elements of US franchise marketing in the Hematology-Oncology disease area; ultimately, preparing the fellow for a successful career in pharmaceutical marketing, commercialization, and/or market access.

The Fellow will serve as a member of the US Hematology-Oncology Marketing team, working in close partnership with core members of the brand team, cross-functional partners, and external agencies to deliver key projects and marketing tactics. The Fellow will develop core marketing fundamentals, with the opportunity to gain experience across various areas within Marketing: Health Care Provider (HCP) Marketing, Digital/Omnichannel Marketing, Conventions, Peer-to-Peer initiatives, and more. This fellowship may provide an opportunity to contribute to the launch preparation of a new indication, developing the Fellow's core marketing capabilities.

University-based experiences complement the industry experiences and include a Professional Development Series; opportunities for collaborative research, publication, and teaching; and participating/leading Rutgers Fellowship committees. These Fellowships provide a broad professional development opportunity in both corporate and academic environments to promote the role of Pharm.D.’s in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry and help fuel your career as a future leader.
