Endocrinologist

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a BE/BC Endocrinologist to join a diverse, collaborative outpatient group in Lancaster, PA. The practice consists of 6 Endocrinologists, 5 diabetic nurse practitioners who work independently and in collaboration with physicians, and 1 in-house diabetes educator and insulin pump trainer.This group sees a wide array of endocrine disease, with an equal balance of diabetes and non-diabetes patients. Diabetes in pregnancy is managed by the diabetic nurse practitioners (type 1 diabetes) and Maternal fetal medicine (type 2 and gestational diabetes). This group is committed to patient-centered care and aspires to provide the highest quality, most compassionate care for our community, seeing 36 hours of direct patient care each week. Outpatient call only is divided among 8 physicians, along with a highly customizable inpatient and outpatient EPIC electronic medical record and supportive, experienced ancillary staff.As part of the University of Pennsylvania health system, based 1.5 hours away in Philadelphia, our providers can provide seamless referrals to specialists in pituitary surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, thyroid cancer, and neuroendocrinology.Requirements:Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic)Completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowshipInterest in gender-affirming hormone therapy welcome, but not requiredPossess or be able to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical LicenseBoard Certified or Board EligibleBenefits At A Glance:
