You will work on cutting-edge technology for AST, which develops systems to provide integrated sensor and signal processing products in support of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance that protect your family, your nation, and enhance global security.
You will guide and oversee the build, test, and delivery of advanced high-capacity systems that process modern communications for the U.S. Government.
You will work on unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious.
You will apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts while contributing to the development of new principles and concepts and ensuring proper setup, configuration, and functionality of systems being deployed.
You will perform work under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives.
You will self-initiate assignments.
You will be a representative/organizational spokesperson on projects as necessary.
You will advise management and customers on product and system solutions to customer needs.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Minimum of 5 years of experience developing in C++ in a Linux environment.
Experience with system-level integration and testing, specifically, the integration of advanced, custom processing systems, testbeds, and software.
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Perl.
Experience with JavaScript.
Experience with XML.
Experience developing, coding, testing, and debugging complex algorithms.
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
