Responsibilities:

Lead engineer for a centralised container lifecycle management strategy with a good understanding of CICD using container deployments.

Experience with container registry products like Harbor or Docker Registry.

Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools and security best practices for containerized applications (with tools like Clair or Trivy).

Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure management with AWS cloud services.

Intermediate experience with Java and/or Python and/or Go.

Intermediate experience with Unix and basic scripting.

Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet requirements and are delivered on time.

Mentor and coach junior team members to promote growth and learning.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards.

Research and evaluate new technologies and software solutions to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Lead and contribute to software architecture and design decisions.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

3+ years of experience in industry with a specific interest/specialty in CICD with container deployment and managing container technologies.

3+ years of experience with deploying infrastructure using Terraform into the public cloud (ideally AWS).

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
