More than 7.6 million home and business owners depend on Alarm.com solutions every day to make their properties safer, smarter, and more efficient.Noonlight is looking for a Director of Sales to join our team to drive sales opportunities, further refine the sales strategy, optimize sales operations, and manage a lean but growing sales team. As a key player at Noonlight, you'll spearhead the leadership of the sales team, requiring not just a deep understanding of our technology, but also a knack for creatively designing and articulating solutions that meet client needs. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Noonlight’s rapid growth by leading the sales function as well as personally contributing to revenue growth. This role will require a leader who enjoys managing and mentoring as well as rolling up their sleeves to directly prospect, build the pipeline, develop solutions and close deals.ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development:
Spearhead the identification and cultivation of sales opportunities and strategic partnerships across a diverse range of sizes and industries. Demonstrate proficiency in closing both high-volume, short-cycle sales and complex, multi-touch enterprise-level sales opportunities, ensuring robust pipeline growth.Product and API Sales:
Expertly market the company's existing software products alongside Noonlight's versatile API solutions. Leverage an in-depth understanding of the technology and its wide-ranging applications to collaborate with prospects, designing and articulating tailored solutions that meet unique client needs.Team Leadership and Development:
Provide strategic leadership to a lean yet rapidly expanding sales team, overseeing both inside and outside sales representatives. Foster a high-performance culture by motivating, coaching, and developing team members to maximize their potential and achieve organizational objectives. Work closely with stakeholders across the business for effective collaboration and partnerships.Sales Process Optimization:
Continuously refine and enhance the sales process and associated tools to establish an organized, repeatable system. Execute meticulously across all stages of the sales cycle, from initial prospecting to final deal closure, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.Margin Optimization:
Attain optimal profit margins by adhering to disciplined pricing guidelines, while demonstrating creativity in structuring deals. Focus on creating win-win scenarios that drive organizational value and foster long-term client relationships.Performance Measurement and Optimization:
Utilize detailed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and regular sales reports to assess and optimize performance across the sales team, monitor backlog, and manage pipeline metrics.
