Legal Support Specialist
to join our expanding team. Our firm leads in prosecuting consumer and employment class actions involving wage-and-hour disputes, unfair business practices, discrimination, and false advertising, representing cases against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies. This position offers invaluable experience in state and federal litigation, with the opportunity to contribute to our continued success in securing justice for thousands of employees and consumers throughout California.Job Summary:The
Legal Support Specialist
will assist attorneys with a range of essential clerical and research tasks, from document preparation and discovery responses to trial preparation. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented individual committed to providing top-tier support to attorneys and clients.Responsibilities:Serve as a floater within various teams, providing flexible support.Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss cases or projects.Draft and file routine pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories following judicial protocols.Conduct legal research and analysis, delivering insights to attorneys.Interview clients and witnesses, preparing summaries of statements.Manage, organize, store, and retrieve case files, including evidence, exhibits, depositions, and pleadings.Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including attendance at trials and hearings as needed.Develop and maintain records for individual cases.Organize and cross-reference documents in a digital database.Handle discovery requests and responses.Assist the General Counsel with special projects.Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Skills and Abilities:Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in legal language, research methods, court procedures, and pleadings.High level of organizational skill and attention to detail.Effective time management, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and sound judgment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift to 15 pounds occasionally.Schedule:8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.In-person, no remote work available.Benefits:401(k)Health, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time OffIf you're passionate about providing exemplary legal support and want to be part of a team making a real difference, apply today to join a top law firm in
